Perchtoldsdorf in the southwest of Vienna. A place where I lived several years of my life. A place characterized by viniculture and many wine taverns. Smells like tradition. Probably true. If there wouldn’t be the winery of Georg and Helene Nigl.
A place where tradition meets modernity. The Nigls are different. Anything than conservative. I like. Kind of rockstars in the old-fashioned world of winemakers. Their products are special and only bring the pure nature into the bottles.
The same applies to their events and locations. In addition to their tavern on Kunigundberg the Kostbar takes place on Monday evenings at their winery in the Vierbatzstraße. As well as the pop-up flea market Heels & Wine on 23 April.
