Buchtel day

It’s Friday. Friday is a very special day for me. Yes, after Friday comes weekend, definitely, but what I want to say is something culinary. On Fridays I look much more forward to going to my favorite café in Vienna than on ordinary days. Because Friday is Buchtel day in Café Korb.

Fresh Buchteln. Home-made. Filled with cranberries or Powidl. Served in tasty vanilla sauce. A pleasure. Every Friday. This is what I call Austrian cuisine. And for all not Austrian speaking guys among you who have never heard of Buchteln, please be inspired by the pics. And get hungry.

And then I would propose: Off to Korb! The kitchen is open at any time the Korb is open. Especially I appreciate the particular ambience consisting of a mixture between tradition and this young, artistic atmosphere.
